Further indications

There are no typical symptoms of celiac disease ; gastrointestinal symptoms, in fact, follow those associated with other pathological conditions, such as irritable bowel syndrome, gastric ulcers or Crhon's disease, and sometimes these are even absent. If you experience the symptoms listed above, contact your doctor; a preliminary blood test, although not having diagnostic significance, is able to exclude the presence of celiac disease; if this is diagnosed with a small intestinal biopsy, the exclusion diet of gluten-containing foods is the most effective therapy for symptom reduction.
