E104 - GIALLO DI CHINOLINA (CI 47005)
Quinoline yellow is a synthetic dye; we find it in effervescent drinks, puddings in powder, smoked fish and colors for Easter eggs. Risks: hyperactivity, asthma, rhinitis, eczema, visual disturbances, insomnia, increased incidence of liver and kidney cancer (observed on high-dose mice). Contraindicated for asthmatics and allergy sufferers.
Quinoline yellow, in association with E951 (aspartame), can attack nerve cells with an intensity 7 times greater than when used singly.
ADI DOSE: 10 mg per kg of body weight
