Formulated with the same substances as the bubble bath, it has a lower concentration of surfactants and perfume because, being used directly on the skin before dilution, greater delicacy is required. Shower gel is also often used on hair and is therefore generally enriched with conditioning substances, such as simple or polymeric quaternary ammonium salts and trimethylglycine, which have a substantive effect on hair and form a protective film.
