Excitement Delirium

The so-called delirium of excitement is a phenomenon that manifests itself as a combination of delirium, psychomotor agitation, anxiety, hallucinations, language disorders, disorientation, violence and bizarre behavior, insensitivity to pain, high body temperature and super strength / hysterical strength / superhuman strength.

Excitement delirium is sometimes called "Excited Delirium Syndrome" and can cause sudden death due to cardio-respiratory arrest, sometimes conditioned by certain measures to contain law enforcement.

The diagnosis remains quite controversial.
