NOTES: when the height is taken for curative purposes it is essential to use defined and standardized pharmaceutical forms in active ingredients (mucilage), the only ones that allow you to know how many active molecules are being administered to the patient. Traditional herbal preparations such as infusions, juices and decoctions, do not allow to establish exactly the quantity of active ingredients administered to the patient, which increases the risk of therapeutic failure.

Indicative dosage in adults and adolescents

  1. If the high is used in the form of a dried and shredded drug
    • take a single dose of 0.5-3 grams several times during the day, up to a maximum of 15 grams / day
  2. If the height is used as a liquid extract (extraction ratio 1: 19.5-23.5; water extraction solvent)
    • take a single 5 ml dose, 3-6 times a day

    • take a single dose of 0.5-1 ml 3 times a day

Notes of galenica: for the preparation of the macerated one, to pour 150 ml of lukewarm water (max 40 ° C) on the drug Altea root minced. Leave to macerate for thirty minutes, stirring frequently.

The macerated must be consumed immediately after use to avoid the risk of bacterial contamination.

NOTES: The extracts of Altea (root) are NOT indicated for children under 3 years. As a precautionary measure, do not take during pregnancy and lactation.
