Is the fruit peel rich in vitamins?

The peel of apples and pears is not particularly rich in vitamins! Instead, there are many more in the pulp.

The reason why it is important to preserve the peel (clearly after proper cleansing) is its high fiber content, such as pectin, which increases satiety, helps regulate the intestine and modulate the absorption of sugars and lipids, cholesterol included.

But be careful, in the peel there may be more or less important traces of pesticides or other harmful substances. Such xenobiotics can be easily removed along with the peel.
