E153 MEDICINAL VEGETABLE CARBON
Medicinal vegetable charcoal is a black-colored dye of natural origin (produced from plant ashes). This dye is contained in various foods, but since it is not water-soluble its use is quite limited. May contain benzopyrene (carcinogenic compound).
Side effects are not known.
