German dish

Simple to prepare this dish can occasionally fit into the sportsman's diet and cheer the most gluttonous palates.

Main features: from a nutritional point of view this dish appears fairly balanced in the distribution of macronutrients, good is the intake of vitamin C, vitamin A and potassium, sufficient fiber.

However, there are some details that penalize it, such as the high glycemic index of potatoes and the poor quality of the meat used to make chicken frankfurters.

Preparation:

Peel the potatoes and cut them crosswise to form many discs 7-8 mm thick. Take a large non-stick pan and pour in a little olive oil, which you then distribute evenly over its entire surface. Spread the potatoes on the pan and cook over high heat for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally; then add the chicken frankfurters and cook for another 10 minutes. Remove the pan from the oven and add the radicchio cut into small pieces.
