Do dogs sweat?

The photo of this hot dog reminds us of how dogs don't sweat .

To be exact, dogs only sweat from the foot pads of their feet. We realize this, for example, when in the summer months "I trust" leaves fingerprints on the polished floors of the house.

Some say that dogs sweat through the tongue . Even if the statement is basically wrong, there is a background of truth: breathing heavily with the tongue out helps the dog eliminate excess heat from his body.

However, this is a poorly efficient mechanism and this is why dogs should be protected from the summer heat. In fact, their poor thermoregulation capabilities expose them to a greater risk of heat stroke than humans.
