Food supplement based on CLA and Korean pine.

Pack of 90 capsules

COMPOSITION

Conjugated linoleic acid concentrate (clarinol); Korean Pine; Jelly

Per serving (2 capsules): CLA 720mg; Korean pine 720 mg

Pinnothin: is a product of vegetable origin, obtained from the oil of seeds of Korean pine, characterized by the presence of polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fatty acids, which amount to about 92% of the total. Among these fatty acids there is a characteristic one, polyunsaturated with 18 carbon atoms known as pinolenic acid, responsible for the biological effects of this supplement. Experimental evidence shows that pinolenic acid can:

  1. Increase the secretion of Cholecystokinin (CCK) in cell cultures. Cholecystokinin is a hormone released at duodaneal level following a meal rich in proteins and lipids, necessary to guarantee the release of bile and pancreatic digestive enzymes; very importantly, cholecystokinin allows to delay gastric emptying and promote a sense of satiety.
  2. Reduce food intake (amount of food ingested) by 9% in 42 overweight patients: leading to significant caloric savings that affects a more rapid weight loss process.

This scientific evidence and the absence of significant side effects make this product a potential anti-hunger supplement.

Conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) - Conjugated linoleic acid is an essential fatty acid, consisting of 18 carbon atoms and 2 double bonds, organized in various isomeric forms. Among all possible isomers, the most biologically active and most naturally occurring ones are cis9 - trans 11 and trans 10 - cis12, which seem to be responsible for the benefits deriving from supplementation with CLA.

As essential fatty acid, conjugated linoleic acid must necessarily be introduced through nutrition and in particular through milk and derivatives, ruminant meat and some vegetable oils such as sunflower and safflower. Its intake is particularly important, as it influences some fundamental physiological and biochemical properties. It falls in fact in:

  1. modulation of the immune response: enhancing specific and adaptive immunity and reducing hypersensitivity;
  2. Antithrombotic action: reducing levels of plasma cholesterol and pro-thrombotic and pro-inflammatory factors;
  3. Anticarcinogenic action: reducing neoplastic proliferation, in vitro and in animal models, intervening on the cell cycle and inducing apoptosis.

The commercial success, albeit partial, of CLA is due in large part to the improving effect on body composition, observed above all on animals, but to a lesser extent also on men. From the critical reading of the various articles, the CLA seems to be able to guarantee an average reduction of 0.09 kg / week, which, although minimal, is generally constant for the first six months, and accompanied by an increase in lean mass levels. The molecular mechanisms underlying this effect include:

  • Inhibition of lipogenesis, mediated by the reduction of lipoproteinlipase activity.
  • Thermogenic effect, induced by the increased expression of uncoupling proteins, which allow to dissipate most of the energy in the form of heat;
  • Induction of the beta oxidation process, guaranteed by the activation of carnitine acetyl transferase;
  • Induction of apoptosis of pre-adipocytes.

Product Features PRO CCK - Net supplements - Pinnothin

The product in question obviously arises as an adjuvant in slimming processes. The synergistic action of pinnothin and CLA, in fact, should on the one hand reduce food uptake, guaranteeing significant caloric savings, and on the other improve body composition, facilitating the slimming process. Although this synergy is potentially and theoretically motivated, there is no experimental evidence to confirm its effectiveness.

Rationale - PRO CCK - Net integrators - Pinnothin

As far as pinnothin is concerned, the literature is still very scarce, characterized by a single clinical trial that confirms the validity of this polyunsaturated fatty acid in reducing appetite and controlling CCK secretion.

As far as the CLA is concerned, on the other hand, it is possible to count more than 1000 studies in this regard, most of them in disagreement with each other; for this reason, the various researches do not allow definitive conclusions to be drawn in this regard.

The presence of potential medium-term side effects and of particularly important experimental evidences only on animal models, the absence of significant advantages on humans, the partial understanding of molecular mechanisms and the presence of isomers with opposite functionalities, definitely limits the use of this product in the supplementary practice.

Recommended use by the company - PRO CCK - Net supplements - Pinnothin

It is advisable to take 2 capsules a day with water or other liquids, preferably 1 hour before lunch.

Use in sports - PRO CCK - Net supplements - Pinnothin

As for pinnothin, the only noteworthy clinical trial involves the administration of 2 grams about 30 minutes before lunch; according to the study, this dose guarantees a reduction in food intake of 9%.

In the case of CLA, on the other hand, very different dosages are used even if they range from 2 grams to 6 grams per day. The dosage most represented appears to be that of 3.4 gr / day, divided into different assumptions adjacent to meals.

Supplementation, which should be prolonged for several weeks, must necessarily be evaluated by your doctor.

Sinergie PRO CCK - Net supplements - Pinnothin

DIETARY PLAN AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY: in order for CLA to assist weight loss, it is NECESSARY to program a controlled, healthy and possibly low-calorie diet, associated with a programmed physical activity adapted to individual needs.

Also in this case it is possible to describe some studies carried out on animals that associate CLA to arginine, recording positive effects on the increase in lean mass, but which make little sense, given the absence of the equivalent in humans.

Side Effects PRO CCK - Net Supplements - Pinnothin

Despite the absence of serious side effects recorded following the intake of CLA, there are various reports of possible pejorative effects in various pathological conditions:

  • Increase in inflammatory biomarkers (reactive c protein and white blood cells): despite these findings, CLA has proved particularly useful due to its anti-inflammatory properties.
  • Increase in insulin resistance: this effect, which seems to be more pronounced for the T10, C12 isomer, drops significantly when an evenly composed mixture is used.
  • Increased oxidative stress: increased lipoperoxidation levels.
  • Dyslipidemic effect: associated with the T10 isomer, C12 materializes with a reduction in plasma HDL cholesterol levels, with an increase in LDL.

Pinoleic acid: the administration of this fatty acid appears to be well tolerated in humans and laboratory animals, so that even at doses of 10.242 mg / kg / day, which lasted for several weeks, it does not appear to be related to any side effects.

However, studies that evaluate long-term safety are lacking.

Precautions for using PRO CCK - Net supplements - Pinnothin

The product is contraindicated in cases of renal or hepatic disease, cardiovascular disease and / or hypertension, during pregnancy, during lactation and under 14 years. In the event of prolonged use (over 6/8 weeks), medical advice is required.
