Ononide in Herbalist: Property of the Onide
Ononide is used for its mild diuretic and spasmolytic properties on the smooth muscles of the urinary tract (useful in the presence of mild urinary tract infections, renella and prevention of kidney stones). The decoction obtained from the dried root is used for gargling against inflammation in the mouth and throat. Ononide, moreover, enters the composition of the species by gramgrass tea prescribed by the National Galenic Formulary, and is present in registered medicinal specialties.
Contraindications
Avoid taking in case of hypersensitivity to one or more components.

Warnings
Care must be taken in the assumption, for prolonged periods, of ononide extracts in association with other diuretics due to the risk of potential hydroelectricity imbalances; during use it is necessary to ensure a sufficient supply of liquids.
