Strength coach: the strength specialist in modern football

Always in more sports, this professional figure begins to become extremely important for improving physical performance.

The strength coach collaborates closely with the athletic trainer, but specializes in advanced training in order to increase strength, the basic muscular quality for any sporting gesture.

Generally the increase in strength is sought through the use of training with overloads, which the athletic trainer will be able to transform into the best performance of the footballer.

It is not uncommon to see athletes with their personal Stregth Coach, they train with him personally in order to recover injuries, improve their weaknesses or simply to want to increase their muscular performance.

All extra work that will reward athletes who have known how to focus on this professional figure.

In Italy, although the first steps are being taken, this figure is still little in use, if not non-existent in many sports realities, something different around the world, where in all sports clubs the figure of the Strength Coach is present. How many athletes have their own Strength Coach or personal trainer? How many athletes around the world do everything to improve their physical performance, even with extra training or with the help of professionals outside the team? How many wanting more from their physique or to make the leap in quality rely on force specialists?

Well, many do this, especially the winning athletes who leave nothing to chance and do everything to optimize their physical preparation ...

In football, especially in modern football, muscle strength is a muscular quality of primary importance that must be trained in its own way and with the appropriate training means. Precisely for this reason the times run and those who will be able to dare to take the first step forward, even distorting classic ways of working, will be able to benefit from the advantages that such training can bring to players and athletes in general.

Unique advantages, players will be able to improve their speed and speed of shooting, the ability to jump high, improve the speed of changes in direction, better strength in shots and improve endurance. Without forgetting that careful strength training can prevent various injuries and inflammations.

There is little time, you risk too much, you are not used to it, these are the excuses you find to divert the subject when you want to propose something different from the usual run around the field .. The real excuse in Italy is that there are few people who dare to change the patterns, thus leaving out the possibility of making the real qualitative leap.

It is true there are already some very good athletic trainers who try to improve the performance of the players, but if you want to make the qualitative leap you need a professional, specialized in training with overloads, who knows how to teach the exercises and methodology to the best athletes, in order to increase their strength and avoid unpleasant injuries. This figure must always be with the athletes during the exercises and ensure their physical integrity. Only a specialist in the field will be able to do this and study the ideal methodologies and advanced programming for each individual athlete according to the needs given by the different roles and competitive commitments.

Well let's see how it is possible to increase the Force through the use of simple exercises; these should be periodized with special training methods and combined with the various stages of a competitive season and the roles of individual athletes.

My intent is to show new ways of working and bring attention to Force exercises in order to raise the strength levels of any athlete.
