Indications ISOTREX ® Isotretinoin

ISOTREX® is used to treat mild to moderate acne.

Mechanism of action ISOTREX ® Isotretinoin

The? Isotretinonina, active ingredient of ISOTREX®, is a derivative of the more well-known Tretinonin, an acid form of vitamin A, chemically revised to ensure better control of side effects related to topical use of the drug.

Like its predecessor, Isotretinonin also acts topically by exerting a keratolytic action, controlling sebum production by the sebaceous glands and stimulating epithelial cell proliferation through the control of gene expression.

All the aforementioned activities result in an effective anti-acne activity, oriented to the prevention of cometone inflammation and the subsequent re-epithelialization necessary for the optimization of the cutaneous features of the injured area.

The absence of systemic absorption makes therapy definitely safe, whose side effects remain limited to transient local reactions.
