When traveling by plane, it is best to store the drugs for personal use in a hand bag, in case the luggage is delayed, it is lost or stolen. In this way, it also avoids exposing the medicines to a thermal shock : the suitcases are put in the hold where the temperature goes below zero and at the airport they are exposed to external heat. By the same principle, drugs should never be left in the car or in the sun: high temperatures (over 25 ° C) can compromise their effectiveness.
Attention also to humidity and correct storage conditions : some drugs, in fact, must be stored in the refrigerator. Keep the leaflet with the instructions for use and never replace the original packaging of the medicines, as it helps to make the product always recognizable.
