Royal jelly and its properties

Royal jelly: the perfect natural supplement

The natural jelly of bees is the secretion of the jaw glands of young worker bees. It appears as a semi-fluid paste of a yellowish white color, with a characteristic acid-aromatic flavor.

It is found in the royal cells, those in which the bees raise the new queens and constitutes the essential nourishment of the queens during their existence, for which it is more commonly called royal jelly .

When the bees are about to raise a new queen, they build special (real) cells, at the bottom of which they accumulate the food destined for super-feeding the larvae that are found in the cells themselves. The beekeeper, taking these cells and sacrificing future queens, has the chance to extract this fabulous vitamin complex.
