E311 OPTILE GALLATO
Octyl gallate, or octyl gallate, is a synthetic antioxidant. It is an additive widely used in packaged foods, such as pretzels, porridge, some types of powdered milk, chewing gum and so on.
It can cause: hyperactivity, hives, insomnia, digestive disorders, allergies.
Not recommended for asthmatics and for subjects sensitive to aspirin.
It is not recommended for pregnant women, nursing mothers or infants to eat.
ADI DOSE: 0.5 mg per kg of body weight per day
