Niaouli in Herbalist: Property of the Niaouli
The essential oil has balsamic properties, therefore it fluidizes the catarrhal secretions of the respiratory apparatus and of the ear-nose-throat district (ORL). The pure use of Niaouli for inhalation on a handkerchief or boiling water for foments is not indicated, while it is useful and well tolerated for oral use in capsules or liquid solution.
Contraindications
Avoid use in case of hypersensitivity to one or more components.

Niaouli essential oil is well tolerated, but at high doses and for prolonged use it can irritate the mucous membranes.
