E589 CHAIR OR SILICATE OF ALUMINUM

The kaolin or aluminum silicate is an additive of natural origin with an anti-caking, excipient, anti-scale and support function for aromas.

It can be contained in various foods, such as instant coffee, powdered milk and flavorings. The major uses, however, are registered in the cosmetic and pharmaceutical sector (antacids, antidiarrheal):

Kaolin is considered a harmless additive, even if inside there is the presence of aluminum.
