Further indications

In the early stages, kidney cancer is generally asymptomatic, so much so that in a good percentage of cases it is diagnosed by chance during imaging examinations. Only at an advanced stage can the aforementioned symptoms appear; to specify that the pains in the abdomen and the back are localized to the anatomical center of the two organs (just under the last ribs to lumbar level and to the flanks). Hematuria, lower back pain and the presence of a palpable mass in the abdomen are the symptoms most commonly associated with kidney cancer.
