Slimming Infusion

Properties and Effects

The slimming infusion described in this article aims to stimulate the metabolism, supporting the natural weight loss induced by the combination of a balanced, slightly low-calorie diet and correct physical activity.

As with almost all herbal teas, the "therapeutic" activity of this weight loss infusion is very mild; greater results may eventually be obtained with standardized dry extracts in the active ingredients that characterize the single nervine drugs (to be used with caution due to the possible negative repercussions on the cardiovascular level).

Ingredients

Birch

The first ingredient that characterizes this slimming infusion is the birch leaves drug; in it, as in that obtained from the bark, it is possible to isolate a phytocomplex rich in hyperoside, a molecule characterized by a marked diuretic activity.

It is therefore not possible to speak of a true natural slimming remedy, given that the weight loss induced by its diuretic action is not due to a loss of fat mass, but to the simple dehydration (it facilitates the elimination of body fluids resulting useful in presence water retention).

Matè

Mate is much more active in this sense, a drug rich in caffeine (1%), well known for its stimulating effects on the release of catecholamines (hormones which, among other things, activate the lipases of adipose tissue, promoting the demolition of triglycerides stored there for energy purposes).

Ononide and Nettle

The ononide has mild diuretic properties, supporting the more marked action of birch. The same goes for the nettle, which can also be considered a vitamin and mineralizing, able to replenish the salts lost through sweating.

Tararraco and Sambuco

The dandelion is a known plant with a diuretic and digestive effect, given its ability to stimulate bile secretion; the presence of inulin in the roots is also interesting, an important soluble fiber for good intestinal function. Elderberry flowers are instead used as simple corrective of flavor.

Preparation

Pour boiling water (about 150 ml) on 1 teaspoon of preparation; cover the container, leave to infuse for about 10 minutes and filter before use.

Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, administer a slimming cup, freshly prepared, three times a day. It is advisable to continue the treatment for at least 4-6 weeks.
