Definition
Intermittent claudication consists in the appearance of pain in one leg in conjunction with physical effort (more or less intense depending on the severity of arterial obstruction), making it necessary to suspend it. The pain regresses with rest and returns with a new physical commitment. Intermittent claudication is caused by the reduction of blood flow, therefore oxygen, to the muscles responsible for walking.Possible Causes * of Intermittent Claudication
