Number of Cells in the Human Body

3.72 × 1013, that is: 37, 200, 000, 000, 000 or 37, 200 billion. This is the number of cells that roughly make up the human body, according to a recent study1 published in the journal Annals of Human Biology.

It means that in a single human body there are about 5, 000 times more cells than the number of world population.
