Paprika Chili pepper

Chili is the characteristic ingredient of paprika (or paprika), a spice typical of Hungarian cuisine.

There are different variants of paprika, distinguished by the degree of spiciness. This spice is in fact obtained from the grinding of several types of chilli and / or sweet peppers.

Paprika can be prepared by preserving or removing the placenta (white inner part of the pepper to which the seeds are attached); in the second case you will get a much more spicy spice.

It is no coincidence that paprika is typical of Magyar cuisine. The pepper, in fact, was introduced in Europe by the Hungarians, who imported it from the Turks, who in turn came to know about the fruit thanks to trade with the Indies.
