Product Features Beta Alanine 3000mg + B6 - NATROID

Beta alanine - partly synthesized by our organism, following the catabolism of carnosine and dihydrouracil, and partly taken through the common diet, although it does not belong to the common processes of protein synthesis, it plays an important role in muscle and brain metabolism, representing the factor limiting in the synthesis of carnosine. Beta alanine, in fact, once taken through the diet in the form of foods or supplements, can quickly be absorbed intestinal by specific transporters and then taken to the liver. At the hepatic level, it is processed together with histidine, forming the carnosine dipeptide, which can readily be stored in the blood and brain through the bloodstream. The high concentrations of this molecule in these sites are partly justified by the absence of carnosinase (hydrolytic enzymes) and partly by the biological role played. At the brain level, in fact, carnosine can protect neurons from oxidative damage induced by reactive oxygen species, stabilize cell membranes while preserving neuronal function and improve cellular homeostasis, while at the muscle level it can buffer the acidity that occurs. realizes after an intense physical exercise, to improve the flow of calcium and the sensitivity of the contractile fibers, safeguard the mitochondrial functionality, support the cellular metabolism and protect the cell from the damage induced by intense physical exercise.

Given the effectiveness of beta alanine supplementation in increasing carnosine muscle reserves, it was used in the sports field, recording important successes in improving athletic performance.

Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6) - pyridoxine is introduced through foods such as meat, and is absorbed in the small intestine. Through the circulatory stream, vitamin B6 bound to albumin reaches the liver, where it undergoes phosphorylation reactions necessary to transform it into biologically active forms. From here you can subsequently reach various tissues and act as a cofactor in numerous metabolic reactions. In particular it actively participates in the processes of glycogenolysis, favoring the increase of glucose, as well as being part of the metabolic processes of amino acids, facilitating its conversion to glucose, in a process known as gluconeogenesis.

It is also included in numerous other reactions that control the hormonal, nervous and oxygenative aspects.

Its daily requirement is around 1 / 1.5 mg, but the cases of deficiency are very rare, while following massive administration for prolonged periods neurological disorders could be achieved.

Rational use of Beta Alanine 3000mg + B6 - NATROID

Numerous studies have shown that supplementation with beta alanine can significantly increase carnosine muscle stocks, and how this process is dose dependent. In one study, in fact, it was observed that the addition to the diet of 3.2 g or 6.4 g daily of beta alanine for 4 weeks, could increase carnosine levels in the vastus lateral muscle of 34 and 64% respectively. At the same time they have registered:

  1. improvements in athletic performance: 5% average strength, 11% maximum strength;
  2. improved aerobic capacity;
  3. reduction of the feeling of fatigue;
  4. increase in lean mass (only in a few studies, and especially if associated with creatine).

No improvements in hormonal response have been reported.

The presence of vitamin B6, too, could improve the amino acid oxidative metabolism, supporting athletic performance and maintaining a high muscular energy content. This however represents only a hypothesis, since there are no experimental data to verify the association between pyridoxine and beta alanine.

Recommended use by the company - Beta alanine 3000mg + B6 - NATROID

3 capsules once a day with water or juice.

Use in sports practice Beta alanine 3000mg + B6 - NATROID

The various studies propose very various dosages, ranging from 2 to 6 grams per day, for at least 4 weeks. The need to prolong supplementation for at least 4 weeks stems from the absence of benefits for acute intake.

The most characterized dosages are around 3/4 grams per day, for which the best ergogenic effects are recorded. However, a recent study has shown that supplementation for 21 days at 6 g divided into 4 intakes, and subsequent 21 days at 6 g divided into 3 intakes, has increased both aerobic capacity and lean mass.

Despite this it is advisable to divide the total dose in different assumptions spaced at least 2 hours apart from each other, trying not to exceed 800mg, a dose to which phenomena of paresthesia may occur, which however disappear very quickly,

It would be preferable, in order to avoid competitive phenomena in the absorption with other amino acids, to take the supplement on an empty stomach.

Given therefore the presence of capsules with 750mg of product, rather than taking two together, twice a day, it would be preferable to divide the intake into four different moments, considering that the maximum blood peaks are realized after about 45 'and return to levels basal after 2 hours.

How to optimize its activity - Beta alanine 3000mg + B6 - NATROID

The increased efficacy that occurs following simultaneous administration with creatine, with an increase in both the ergogenic and anabolic properties is well demonstrated. The administration with antioxidants like coenzyme Q10, VITAMIN E and lipoic acid could also be interesting, in order to reduce the damage induced by intense physical exercise, thus improving both the performance and the recovery phase.

Side effects Beta alanine 3000mg + B6 - NATROID

Already at doses of 10 mg / kg there may be cases of paraesthesia (tingling), skin redness and heat, which become greater by 20mg / kg and severe by 40mg / kg.

The presence of these side effects is attributable to the blood peak that occurs following the administration of Beta alanine, consequently the same effects - albeit pronounced and dose dependent - tend to resolve quickly.

Precautions for use Beta alanine 3000mg + B6 - NATROID

The product is contraindicated in cases of renal or hepatic disease, cardiovascular disease and / or hypertension, during pregnancy, during lactation and under 14 years.
