On the market there are several hypotonizing eye drops, to be instilled in the eye with regularity and continuity, to maintain constant eye pressure over the course of 24 hours. If these measures prove insufficient, it is possible to resort to surgical therapy, in order to restore the normal outflow of the aqueous humor.
