Treat the Couperose with herbs

This article aims to help the reader in the rapid identification of natural remedies useful in the treatment of various symptoms, disorders and pathologies. For some of the listed remedies, this utility may not have been confirmed by sufficient experimental tests conducted with a scientific method. Furthermore, any natural remedy presents potential risks and contraindications.

If available, we therefore recommend that you click on the link corresponding to the individual remedy to learn more about the topic. In any case, we remind you of the importance of avoiding self-treatment and to consult your doctor beforehand to ascertain the absence of contraindications and drug interactions.

The Couperose, otherwise known as "Red Cup", is an imperfection characterized by the presence of widespread redness, mostly concentrated in the face and linked to the fragility and excessive porosity of the small superficial blood vessels.

The exhaustion of the capillary walls determines the appearance of very small branched veins in the shape of a star or a spider's web, visible - in the context of a diffuse redness - following the local stagnation of blood.

Considering that the main etiologic agent of couperose is represented by capillary fragility, herbal medicine can come to the aid through medicinal herbs capable of restoring tonicity to "brittle" capillaries.

At the same time it is important: avoid too aggressive detergents, preferring those with a soothing and astringent action, with natural substances such as azulene and extracts of sage, witch hazel, calendula; try to regularize intestinal function if necessary (for example through the use of natural laxatives or digestive plants); protect yourself from UV rays with sunscreen products suitable for your skin type.
