Product features Thermo Stack Plus - ProAction

Thermo stack plus is a product that can be cataloged in the complex and varied class of thermogenics . These supplements have the task of increasing thermogenesis, a process by which the body is able to maintain a constant body temperature. Thermogenesis is partly influenced by the diet, given the need to digest and absorb the various nutrients introduced (see TID, diet-induced thermogenesis): it is also closely associated with the metabolism of some tissues, such as the adipose muscle, and some organs, responsible for homeothermia and adaptive thermogenesis.

Thermogenesis inevitably affects the daily energy expenditure. The possibility of dissipating energy in the form of heat, without conversion to organic compounds, derives from the presence of futile metabolic cycles (particularly evident in less evolved animals) and from mitochondrial activity. In particular, the presence of uncoupling proteins (UCP), allows the dissipation of the proton gradient, reducing the synthesis of ATP and favoring the production of heat. This mechanism is particularly intense at the level of brown-multilocular adipose tissue (not very present in men, very evident in hibernating animals), where UCP proteins are more expressed.

Naturally, the induction of thermogenesis is not exclusively determined by an intrinsic activity of brown adipose tissue, but finely regulated by the sympathetic nervous system, which effectively responds to external stimuli of cold (preserving the internal organs from hypothermia) and hyperalimentation ( representing an effective weight control system).

It can therefore be easily deduced how the study of thermogenesis and the understanding of the mechanisms useful for its regulation can be profitably used in slimming strategies, and how significant alterations of these processes can be partly responsible for pathologies such as obesity.

Thermogenesis and supplements

Thermogens come into play in the slimming process trying to modulate thermogenesis, enhancing its effectiveness and trying to significantly increase the daily expenditure of energy. During low-calorie diets and important weight loss, however, we are witnessing a natural decrease in thermogenesis, which prevents and slows the continuation of the slimming course. This decline in metabolism is linked to the reduction of diet-induced thermogenesis (given the reduced amount of food introduced), the modulation of thyroid function and the normal organic and physiological adaptation. The use of thermogenic supplements, in this case, could therefore support the levels of adaptive thermogenesis, resulting in a significant increase in daily energy expenditure, and assist the low-calorie diet in weight loss.

Product composition in brief:

Thermo Stack Plus - ProAction

Naringin 50 mg: flavonoid of grapefruit, to which it gives the characteristic bitter taste. Belonging to the falvonoid family of heterosides, taken orally, it is hydrolysed by the bacterial flora and absorbed in the intestine in the form of naringenin. There are numerous actions demonstrated for this substance, from the anti-atherogenic action to the muscle relaxant action, from the antiviral to the hepatoprotective action. By relating the active ingredient to the goal of the supplement, naringin is used to:

  1. Prolong the half-life of caffeine, reducing its clearance through the inhibition of enzymes involved in its metabolism;

Caffeine 150 mg: methylxanthine commonly introduced through coffee; in fact, an espresso can contain up to 100mg. Caffeine is quickly circulated and used by various tissues. It acts at different levels, on the stomach, promoting acid secretion, on the heart, increasing its frequency and contractile intensity, on the respiratory system, improving ventilatory capacity, on muscle tissue, improving its contraction, and on the nervous system, where it increases the secretion of catecholamines with consequent activation of the sympathetic system, important for supporting thermogenesis. The maximum safe dose used in the studies is 300 mg, beyond which there are tremors, anxiety, tachycardia, insomnia and excitement. On the other hand, prolonged use is an important risk factor for diseases of the gastrointestinal, cardiovascular and nervous tract (migraine).

Dry extract of bitter orange 200mg: several evidences claim that citrus aurantium can improve thermogenesis through a sympathomimetic action induced by its amines, including the synephrine and octopamine. More precisely, it seems to be able to act selectively on Beta 3 adrenergic receptors present at the level of adipose tissue, increasing mitochondrial function.

Synephrine 12mg: sympathomimetic amine extracted also from bitter orange; is able to improve adrenergic receptor function, concentrating its activity in particular on Beta 3 receptors. If the effects seem to be quite encouraging on laboratory guinea pigs, those on men are still discussed, considering that a better thermogenic and anorectic activity would be obtained in synergy with other compounds. Various disorders are associated with the intake of synephrine, from tremors to headaches, from tachycardia to hypertension up to arrhythmias and cardiac arrest; however, the potentially dangerous quantities are not known

Dry fucus thallus extract 50 mg / iodine 50 mcg: thanks to the presence of free and transported iodine, of mucopolysaccharides such as alginic acid and fucoidan, of polyphenols and sterols, it helps support thyroid function, improving the process of thermogenesis and increasing energy expenditure. Furthermore, the presence of alginates also gives this alga a protective action against the gastric mucosa, and potentially laxative properties.

Dry extract of cocoa beans 50mg: known for the presence of xanthines, in particular theobromine and to a small extent of caffeine and theophylline, it guarantees an enhancement of the previously listed functionalities for caffeine, significantly affecting cardiovascular, respiratory and cognitive function, and enhancing the sympathetic activity. At high doses, restlessness, anxiety, muscle tremors, nausea, vomiting and arrhythmias may occur.

50mg chilli pepper powder: important for the presence of capsaicin, responsible for the sensation of immediate burning and subsequent relief following its intake. The pain stress induced by this alkaloid leads to a release of catecholamines and an enhancement of the sympathetic response. However, capsaicin is also known for its anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties.

2.5mg dry black pepper fruit extract: its benefits in terms of weight loss are due to the presence of piperine, an alkaloid responsible for the biological action. In fact, it has been shown that the consumption of these substances can significantly affect the metabolism of other drugs and compounds such as xanthines, enhancing their effect and increasing their bioavailability.

Rational integration into the Thermo Stack Plus sport practice - ProAction

The properties and therapeutic virtues of these plants have been known for centuries, so much so that they have been used successfully by the most ancient civilizations. Although for most of these substances there is a conspicuous literature concerning their biological properties, organic effects and biochemical characteristics, the effectiveness of the association of several products in weight loss is not yet perfectly characterized. However, various studies are described in the literature in which there is a combination of thermogenic supplementation

  1. increase in the daily caloric requirement even by 20% in sedentary subjects
  2. an increase in energy expenditure in subjects subjected to training
  3. an increase in thermogenesis, accompanied by a greater weight reduction.

It also seems that, while observing a greater energy expenditure, and a weight reduction, the product does not affect from a biochemical point of view promoting lipid oxidation. Consequently, the appellation of BRUCIAGRASSI seems rather inadequate.

In most cases, the greatest increase in energy expenditure, the one that most affects the daily energy demand, is observed approximately 2 hours after taking the product.

Finally it must be remembered that the use of this type of supplements makes sense only if associated with a low-calorie diet and a scheduled physical activity.

Recommended use by the company - Thermo Stack Plus - ProAction

Take 1 tablet a day on a full stomach. We recommend taking Thermo Stack Plus in the morning during breakfast and / or a couple of hours before physical activity.

Side Effects Thermo Stack Plus - ProAction

The presence of alkaloids and active ingredients capable of interfering with the hepatic enzyme chain, responsible for drug metabolism, could definitely alter the pharmacokinetic properties of certain active ingredients, enhancing or reducing their effects.

In literature there is no specific indication about potential side effects associated with the administration of the product in question, therefore these should be traced back to the side effects of the individual components.

Precautions for use Thermo Stack Plus - ProAction

The Thermo Stack Plus - ProAction product is contraindicated in cases of renal or hepatic disease, cardiovascular disease and / or hypertension, pregnancy, lactation and age less than 12 years, as well as in adolescents not yet trained.

The Thermo Stack Plus - ProAction product must be used as part of an adequate low-calorie diet, following a healthy lifestyle with a good level of physical activity. If the diet is followed for prolonged periods, over 3 weeks, it is advisable to consult a medical opinion. The E-110 dye can negatively affect children's activity and attention.
