Further indications

The symptoms of anxiety are different. However, in most cases, it appears as a very unpleasant emotional state, accompanied by nervousness, anxiety and physiological reactions at the level of the various systems. Anxiety can determine cardiocirculatory manifestations (palpitations and hypertension crisis), respiratory (air hunger and hyperventilation), gastrointestinal (dry mouth, nausea, retching, diarrhea), urinary (frequent urination) and muscle (tremors). These manifestations are also associated with sensory symptoms, such as visual blurring and dizziness. In some cases, anxiety takes on the character of "crisis", with impaired cognitive functions (difficulty concentrating).

Anxiety, like other disorders related to the emotional sphere of the person, must be faced with extreme awareness and seriousness. In addition to relaxation and cognitive-behavioral therapies, under specialized medical supervision it is possible to use anxiolytic drugs and, in special cases, antidepressants.
