Indications ABIDEC ® - Vitamin complex

ABIDEC ® is indicated to satisfy the daily vitamin requirement, when the diet alone is not sufficient or in cases of increased demand.

Action mechanism ABIDEC ® - Vitamin complex

ABIDEC ® is a multivitamin capable of supplying a wide spectrum of vitamins, whose needs tend to grow significantly at certain stages of life, such as pregnancy and growth or in particular pathological conditions such as severe trauma, major surgery, parasitosis, metabolic disorders and neoplastic diseases.

Although the need for these micronutrients is decidedly low, the lack of these compounds has repercussions on the health of the entire organism, thus leading to the appearance of anorexia, weight loss, asthenia, gastrointestinal disorders, dermatological pathologies, neurological pathologies and in most cases serious, but fortunately rare and confined to particular populations at high risk, coma.

From the biological point of view, in fact, considering however that each vitamin acts selectively on a specific biochemical pathway, these nutrients guarantee:

  • The advancement of numerous biological reactions, both catabolic and anabolic;
  • The protection of biological structures from damage induced by reactive oxygen species;
  • The synthesis of fundamental molecules from the metabolic and hormonal point of view;
  • Regulation of gene expression and control of cell proliferation and differentiation processes;
  • The growth and renewal of various fabrics.

Different research groups are at work, to fully characterize the molecular activity of some vitamins, and in particular the ability to reprogram gene expression.

Studies carried out and clinical efficacy

1. THE VITAMINS IN THE PREVENTION OF SPONTANEOUS ABORTIONS ASSOCIATED WITH ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION.

Am J Obstet Gynecol. 2009 Dec; 201 (6): 563.e1-9. Epub 2009 Oct 20.

Study demonstrating that supplementation with multivitamins can reduce the risk of spontaneous abortion associated with alcohol intake during pregnancy.

2.VITAMINS AND LENGTHS OF TELOMERIES

Am J Clin Nutr. 2009 Jun; 89 (6): 1857-63. Epub 2009 Mar 11.

The administration of multivitamin supplements has proved useful in delaying the shortening of telomeres in women, a molecular indication of cell biological aging and the deleterious effects of oxidative stress and chronic inflammation.

3. THE VITAMINS IN THE PREVENTION OF CONGENITAL DEFECTS

Birth Defects Res At Clin Mol Teratol. 2009 Apr; 85 (4): 260-8.

Work demonstrating the effectiveness not only of folic acid but also of more complete multivitamin complexes in the prevention of neural tube defects and other congenital anomalies in unborn children.
