Indications TINSET (gel) ® Oxatomide

TINSET ® gel is indicated for the treatment of itchy dermatitis, insect bites and sunburn.

Mechanism of action TINSET (gel) ® Oxatomide

TINSET ® is a drug based on Oxatomide, an antihistamine used clinically both systemically and topically.

Topical use, limiting the systemic absorption of the active ingredient, ensures a significant reduction in the incidence of potential side effects, thus making the therapy effective and safe.

The Oxatomide by inhibiting the action of histamine on H1 receptors, serotonin and leukotrienes determines:

  • the reduction of capillary permeability;
  • edema typical of inflammatory and allergic manifestations;
  • control of itching and pain;
  • the reduction of the typical signs of inflammation.

All the aforementioned activities determine a clear improvement in the symptomatology that is observed in the course of minor pathologies determined by a hypersecretion of histamine.
