- E381b: AMMONIUM FERRIC CITRATE (GREEN)
Ammonium ferric citrate is a compound formed by the union of ammonia, iron and citric acid (E330).
It is a product created to enrich products containing iron and is an anti-hardener in salt.
It can therefore be present in salt, in baby food, in food supplements.
At the moment, we do not know what the real side effects of this additive are.
ADI DOSE: 0.8 mg of ammonium ferric citrate per kg of body weight.
