The water clover has therapeutic indications similar to those of the gentian; it is used in therapy as a bitter in the treatment of appetizers and dyspepsias (stimulation of appetite and gastric secretions), but also as an anti-inflammatory, diuretic and stomachic.
Side effects
After taking excessive doses, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea may occur.
Contraindications
Avoid use in cases of peptic ulcer or hypersensitivity to one or more components.
