The cold is an infectious disease, acute and contagious, of viral origin; caused by a strain of Rhinovirus, it affects the upper airways, resulting in local inflammation with mucus hypersecretion and symptoms such as nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, cough, laryngitis, bronchial congestion, headache and sometimes fever.
