Gelatine is a compound obtained from the secondary products of animals, including bones, ligaments and skin.
It has a predominantly stabilizing, thickening and gelling function.
Gelatine is a very common additive, which can be found in many products such as puddings, dairy products, cheeses, sweets, ice creams, sorbets, etc. Furthermore, it is believed that this additive may contain traces of sulfites and monosodium glutamate (E621). It could also cause allergies and asthma.
