YOUNG
In this category, consolidation workouts of the acquired skills are organized. The boy must be able to make mistakes in order to be able to correct his choices.
Ward and team tactics must be set up, expanding and consolidating individual technical and tactical knowledge.
In this phase of human growth the boy is characterized by humoral inconstancy, reduced motor coordination and somatic disharmony. The basic body schema must be reworked and the exercises must be treated in detail: we must devote more time to technical-tactical gestures and specific physical abilities. We start with exercises based on game situations, searching for technical precision and originality. In this sense we try to make all the technical-tactical situations more effective.
STUDENTS
It is the period in which perfection is sought in the acquired technical gestures and the knowledge of the tactical sense in function of the collective game. From this point of view the motor learning ability is favorable, therefore exercises can be carried out with increasing difficulty.
The technical training will have to turn above all on the exercises of technique applied to the game, rather than on the systematic repetition of the individual technical fundamentals. The various game combinations must therefore be sought with greater insistence.
The proposed exercises should invite the students to their own resolution and the figure of the coach should be above all guide and technical correction.
The physical development of this age will have to turn above all to the increase of the existing pre-requisites without exaggerating with the maximal exercises.
"JIUNIORES" or "BERETTI"
During this stage of football learning, the exercises of football technique in its most applicative forms must be privileged, also through the rhythms of the competition.
Priority must be given to possession and non-possession of the ball, departmental and team tactics.
From a physical point of view, there is an increasing specialization, through the qualitative and quantitative increase in physical conditioning exercises typical of the game of football.
