Directions CERULISINA ® Dimethylbenzene and sweet almond oil

CERULISINE ® is indicated in the post-operative medication and cleaning of the middle ear and in the dissolution of ear wax caps.

Mechanism of action CERULISINA ® Dimethylbenzene and sweet almond oil

CERULISINE ® is a drug based on Dimethylbenzene, more commonly known as Xylene, a substance belonging to the group of aromatic hydrocarbons and endowed with marked detergent and solubilizing power.

In fact, immersed in a highly lubricating solution such as sweet almond oil, it allows the detachment and slipping of the cerumen plug together with any other residues present along the entire auditory canal.

In addition to removing any wastes, this activity partially restores the membrane lipid film of the external acoustic meatus, protecting the mucous membrane from possible aggressors.

The aforementioned activities are evidently carried out exclusively by direct contact, thus justifying the application of the drug in ear drops.
