Motor skills

Curated by Gian Paolo Tascio

But what are we going to train?

the "MOTOR SKILLS" ... let's try to make order.

Conditional abilities or organic muscle capacity

Power

Resistance

Speed

CAPACITY OF STRENGTH

CAPACITY TO WIN OR TO OPPOSE A RESISTANCE WITH A TENSIVE ENGAGEMENT OF MUSCLING

MAXIMUM FORCE

It is the maximal tension reached by the muscle during contraction to overcome a high external resistance.

RESISTANT FORCE

It is the repetition of a sub-maximal muscular tension that is going to put in a crisis or exhaust the energy systems.

FAST FORCE

It is realized when the amount of resistance causes, a sub-maximal tension, aimed at making a gesture as quickly as possible

CAPACITY OF RESISTANCE

ABILITY TO PROVE A PERFORMANCE OVER TIME

RESISTANCE TO STRENGTH

Ability to sustain a low intensity load over time.

SPEED CAPACITY

IT IS THE ABILITY TO REALIZE A MOVEMENT IN MINOR POSSIBLE TIME.

It is a motor capacity determined in large part by the genetic heritage (Rapidity) but, nevertheless, also influenced by the Strength, Coordination and the elastic (mechanical) component of the muscle.

Coordinative skills

CAPACITY OF ORGANIZATION, CONTROL AND MODULATION OF MOVEMENTS.

GENERAL SKILLS

Motor learning skills.

Motor control ability.

Ability to adapt and possible change of movements.

SPECIAL CAPACITIES

Combination Capacity

Balance capacity

Fine dexterity

Reaction capacity

Orientation skills

Ability to Anticipate

Motor Fantasy

Spat / temp differentiation capacity

Dynamic Differentiation Capacity (force modulation)

Rhythm ability

Make an automatic gesture or keep it that way:

Energy saving

Performance improvement

Flexibility

ARTICULAR MOBILITY

It is the ability of movement of a limb in its anatomical-structural limits (not improved)

MUSCULAR EXTENSIBILITY

It is the ability to stretch muscles.
