E365 SODIUM SMOKED

Sodium fumarate is the sodium salt of fumaric acid, a natural acid; it is used by the food industry as an acidity regulator. In particular, sodium fumarate can be present in sweets, bakery products, baking powder etc.

At the moment no negative side effects are known, as it is easily metabolized by our body.

ADI DOSE: 6 mg per kg of body weight.

E366 POTASSIUM FUMARATE, E367 SMOKED CALCIUM is likely to be similar in effect to E365, being salts derived from the same acid.
